Inky is just about a year old and a very lovely Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix which means she's a very active girl. She'd make a GREAT running partner if you're into running. Do not adopt Inky if you want her to sit and watch TV with you. She'd do that after the two of you have had a good hike or a run or a great agility class. Inky is a great candidate as an agility dog. She's already had quite a bit of basic training which means she's ready to start agility classes whenever you are! Inky is spayed and up to date on all her shots.
Inky is super shy to begin with. But give her a bit of patience and love and in less than a week she will be your devoted and very loving companion. Inky does not do well in a household with children or in a household with a lot of activity and people coming and going. She does much better as a companion to you and your partner. She loves to have her belly rubbed. She loves to run and play fetch. Toys are lots of fun for Inky especially if they include you!
Inky already knows SIT, STAY, DOWN, WAIT, and HEEL! And her trainer says she has a great nose and would be great at tracking also!
Inky needs a quiet home that will offer her the active and involved life style that a high energy dog needs.
