Skye is another strikingly handsome Collie with a beautiful coat. Skye is estimated to be about 2 years old. He's a smaller sized Collie weighing in at about 50 pounds. Strider, our tri-color Collie on Petfinder, also weighs in at about 50 pounds but he's taller and more slender than Skye. Skye has a sable and white coat. He was found as a stray in a rural area of Idaho where there were few resources to help him. He was sent to Boise and then to us here in Utah. We neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped Skye --- he's in great health.

Skye is a very sensitive boy who, although beautifully house trained, is stressed enough by the absence of his foster Mom, that when she went out of town for a few days he seemed to forget all his training. He's also so sensitive that when he was in the home of a different Mom with a toddler, the toddler could reach out and let out a noise, and Skye would walk over to her and carefully position himself sitting next to her. When learning to stand up and walk, the toddler could grab onto Skye and he would patiently hold still. If the toddler cried Skye kept bugging the toddler's Mom until she saw to the toddler's tears.
