Yeah!  Leci's had her surgery on her leg and all is well!

Leci is a one year old Pomeranian/Shih Tzu girl who is happy all the time and friendly with everyone. Although she needs to be an indoor dog, she loves to romp outside, fetch her toys, nuzzle, and have her belly rubbed. She comes when her name is called, and is a smart little girl (about 6 pounds) still growing out of puppyhood. Leci needs a forever home: one that will appreciate her energy, be with her much of the day,
include her in their activities, and has a fenced yard. She rides well in a car, and would probably travel well. She is trained to sleep in her crate at night. She'll come with her own little bed and some other items to help in her feeding and care. Leci would do best in a home without small children. She gets along with other dogs but may try to dominate a shy dog. We don't know about cats. Leci has learned to "sit" and "stay" for a short period of time. She also understands "potty" and "poop." We are working on "lay" and "off." She walks quite well on a leash, and will also make a good little alert dog. Leci is already spayed, microchipped, and UTD on her shots.
Leci has a known orthopedic problem that will require surgery probably sometime soon. The cost of the surgery is likely to be close to $1,000.00. Whoever adopts her will have to have the love and resources to provide her with this medical care.
Leci's adoption fee is $250.00. If you feel you are the forever home Leci is looking for, call Shannon at 801-605-8266.
