Penny is a very friendly, loving, girl who looks like she's a full Sheltie at first glance. After watching her behavior over a period of time we can see that she's a mix. She has a very, very strong drive to learn what you want from her. She's a girl who needs a job in her life and would make an excellent therapy dog with some training. Penny is young and young minded because she's has no training. However, in training, she would be a dream because she's so very smart and so determined to please that she'll learn very quickly. We don't know her precise age but she's estimated to be about two years old which means she's just past teenager-hood and into young adulthood. Penny is at a great age for training. Her foster Mom, Julene, reports that despite the fact that Penny is very slender she has a very healthy appetite!
