One cuddle with 11 year old Sheltie mix Ace and you'll be hooked. This boy is a lover! We don't have all of his history. He arrived here with a full Sheltie named Sophie who you can see in the photo with him. They've been together at least 6 or 7 years. It would be nice to keep them together. Ace is always looking to see where you are and to be with you. He's great with other dogs, cats, and well house trained.
Ace and Sophie's prior owners were unable to keep them. They were living in the garage and there were indications that Sophie might need medical attention. We have done extensive blood work on both kids. Sophie has a sensitive tummy and needs a easy-to-digest diet. Both should lose some weight. Ace's tummy is not so sensitive like Sophie's. Sophie's liver values needed some attention so she's on Denamarin. In a couple of weeks we'll be checking out her liver values to see if they've normalized with good food, indoor living, and medical attention.
